Carmen Electra is an American glamour model, television personality, actress and singer. Electra was born on April 20th, 1972 in White Oak, Ohio. Electra's talents were evident when she was a child, as she attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts at only 9 years old. Before becoming popular, Tara formerly worked as a dancer at Kings Island Amusement Park in Ohio.

Electra was first spotted when a scout for Prince spotted her fronting a rap group in Los
Angeles. Prince liked Carmen's look and style, and in 1992 he signed her on to his label, Paisley Park Records. She was also promoted with ads in Rolling Stone and on MTV, but the success wasn't there. In May of 1996 she appeared in Playboy magazine. In 2001 Carmen was ranked 10th of the 100 Sexiest Women by FHM Taiwan and in 2002 she was ranked #59 in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women In The World".

Electra has appeared in several films such as Good Burger (1997), The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999). In 2001, Carmen Electra appeared in Get Over It, Perfume and Sol Goode, and the following year, she was featured in Whacked! and Rent Control. In 2002, she also became a ringside reporter for Comedy Central's BattleBots and the host of Livin' Large. In 2004 she appeared in the Ben Stiller.
